CHARGING SERVICE SYSTEM FOR VEHICLE USING ELECTRICITY AS POWER SOURCE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a service enabling a user who has a vehicle using electricity as a power source to charge the vehicle away from home, and to provide a system capable of effectively utilizing an excess of power. SOLUTION: A charging service system provides the service enabling the user who has the vehicle using electricity as a power source to search through a portable telephone a position where power is sold by a power seller. The system comprises: a connecting means that connects the system to a network for communicating with the portable telephone; a storing device that stores information on the power selling position registered by the power seller; and an indication means that indicates the stored information on the power selling position to a browser of the portable telephone via the network in response to the requirement of the user through the portable telephone. The user is enabled to charge the vehicle at the power selling position indicated on the browser of the portable telephone.
