<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a QoS control system in a packet switch network, the hardware scale of and the development cost for which can be reduced. SOLUTION: In the QoS control system in the packet switch network, input sections 101 to 10j for an input node N0 of a plurality of nodes have policing process sections 201 to 20j . The policing process sections 201 to 20j compare respective traffic capacities for a plurality of traffic characteristics to a reference traffic capacity, and abort packets on the basis of the comparison of respective traffic capacities for a plurality of the traffic characteristics to the reference traffic capacity. Furthermore, the policing process sections 201 to 20j output priority information showing packet transfer priolity to a plurality of nodes, in accordance with a traffic characteristic assigned to not aborted packet of a plurality of traffic characteristics, with the priority information added to the packet having the traffic characteristic assigned to not aborted packet. Switch sections 30 to 3k switch packets from input sections 101 to 10j and 701 to 7kj , on the basis of the priority information.</p> |
