PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an internet camera which can restrict communication costs to a required minimum, even when the controller of the internet camera can change a setting of the internet camera arbitrarily in the internet camera, which transfers images to a file server over the Internet, in accordance with predetermined setting data. SOLUTION: An internet camera has a modem, capable of telephone transmission and reception; a file transmitting means which is connected to the internet, in accordance with predetermined setting data for transmitting images to a file server; a remote access server for making a user authentication for an external computer; and a setting change server for changing the setting data by operations from the external computer, when the remote access server successes in the user authentication. |
