PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a polymerizable compound useful as an electrochemical device such as a secondary battery or condenser so that the compound shows high ionic conductivity and excellent in safety, the polymer of the polymerizable compound, a electrolyte containing the polymer and a method of manufacturing thereof. SOLUTION: The polymerizable compound shown in an equation (1) containing less than 100 ppm of chlorine, the polymer of the compound, the electrolyte containing the polymer and the method of manufacturing thereof.
