PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a camera monitoring system in which the size of characters being affixed to a video can be altered. SOLUTION: The camera monitoring system for delivering video signals obtained from cameras 1-1 through 1-4 to the side of a receiving server 4 under monitoring while affixing identification character information comprises video converting sections 21-1 through 21-4 for altering the number of pixels in one screen of video signals obtained from the cameras 1-1 through 1-4, and units 3-1 through 3-4 for affixing the identification character information to the video signal while altering the size in correspondence with alteration of the number of pixels at the video converting sections 21-1 through 21-4.
