PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To freely produce an original image of rooms, buildings, etc., by a digital camera, etc., and to easily paste a sample image in a prescribed range of the original image with an image close to reality. SOLUTION: In this reform simulation system 1, the original image of the rooms, the buildings, etc., is displayed on a monitor and the sample image is pasted in an image range of objects such as walls, floors, curtains, furniture to be included in the original image. After specifying a grid range in the image range of the object by a reference graphic, dimensional information is given to the grid range by inputting optional dimension to a prescribed segment of the reference graphic. The size of the sample image is scaled down based on the dimensional information of the grid range and the sample image is pasted in a mask range of the object. The reference graphic is preferably a quadrangle. In addition, it is preferable to give depth information to the grid range based on proportion of length of two facing sides of the reference graphic. Furthermore, it is preferable to give orientation information of the sample image to the grid range.
