PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the power consumption of the scanning signal driving circuit of a display device. SOLUTION: The circuit is provided with thin film transistors 11 and 13 and an output terminal 42. One end of the transistor 11 is connected to a first external power supply through a resistor 12 and one end is directly or indirectly connected to a ground and the transistor 11 is operated by a high or a low level input. One end of the transistor 13 is connected to a second external power supply and the other end is grounded through the gate capacity of the previous pixel driving element. The transistor 13 is operated by the input from the connecting point of the resistor 12 and the transistor 11. The output terminal 42 is provided between the other end of the transistor 13 and a gate capacitor.
