PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To constitute a fixing unit at a lower cost with a simple structure without considering an insulating distance specified by a safety standard through the detection of temperature with a thermistor at a primary side. SOLUTION: The threshold voltage (PWM) of a comparator at the primary side is fed through a CPU, a photocoupler, and an integrator and is compared with the detecting voltage of the thermistor, and further is input into a CPU port through the photocoupler. Temperature is detected through reading a varied PWM value.
