PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable an operator to generate a sound effect using an optical disk with the similar feeling of operating an analog record. SOLUTION: By providing a pressure-sensing layer to a freely rotatable jog dial 4, the pressing force applied to the jog dial 4 is detected. According to the combination of the pressing force applied to the jog dial 4 and stop state of the jog dial, the tempo of sound reproduced from audio information is varied. Also, by providing operation keys 8b, 7f adjusting the variation when the tempo of reproduced sound is varied according to the level of the detected signal, the tempo of reproduced sound is diversely varied according to the pressing force applied to the jog dial 4.
