摘要

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a magneto-resistive effect magnetic head exhibiting good reproducing properties stably. SOLUTION: A MR element 11 is sandwiched through a non-magnetism layer 12 by a lower layer magnetic shield layer 13 and a upper magnetic shield layer 14. And the non-magnetic layer 12 is formed by a non-magnetic non- conductive material which exhibits high hardness as compared with Al2 O3 .
