PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an automatic program-operating system, with which a real equipment state can be displayed on an equipment status display device. SOLUTION: This system is provided with an automatic program controller 1, a device 2 to be controlled, such as VTR and an equipment status display device 3. The equipment status display device 3 is provided with an equipment status determining table 21 for receiving control information 12 from the automatic program controller 1 and the controlled result 13 from the equipment 2 to be controlled, and a status display control part 22 for preparing display data 14 corresponding to the determined result by this equipment status judging table 21.
