PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a receiver adopting the CDMA system that can reduce the power consumption in a pause period of intermittent reception. SOLUTION: A low power timer means 51 supervises a pause period t1 to turn off a VC-TCX01, a reference signal group generating section 2 and a reception section 3 and to bring a MODEM section 4 to a sleep state. At reception restart, a high precision timer means 44 is started (d) to request count of a time t3 and a part of the received signal is stored. A PN code phase means 46 calculates a PN code phase of the stored data during a t3 period to obtain an indication value (i) with respect to a phase deviation. A status vector for a short code and a status vector for a long code and a reception time 4 are calculated and set on the basis of the indication value (i). When the high precision timer means 44 counts the t3 and outputs 0 V (d), demodulation by a RAKE demodulation section 40, a demultiplexer section 41 and a descramble section 42 is started according to the settings and continues for a reception time t4. |
