PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a light source device frame capable of quickly exhausting heat in an arc tube from a reflector when lighting. SOLUTION: In the case where an ultra-high pressure mercury lamp 4 is fixed to a lamp case 2 separately from a reflector 3, a gap g is generated between the outer surface of a seal tube part 4 of the ultra-high pressure mercury lamp 4 and the inner surface of a cylindrical holding part 33 of the reflector 3, and when lighting, high temperature air inside the reflector 3 is exhausted to the outside of the reflector 3 through the gap g. High temperature air inside the lamp case 2 is exhausted to the outside through an opening 22 since a holder 23 is constituted with a member which does not cover the opening 22 of a connection pin or the like. |
