PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a nonaqueous electrolyte battery that has proper low- temperature performance level, and high energy density. SOLUTION: This nonaqueous electrolyte battery comprises at least a positive electrode, that has a positive electrode active material as the main constituent, a negative electrode that has a negative electrode carbonaceous material as the main constituent and nonaqueous electrolyte, where the negative electrode carbonaceous material contains a rhombohedral system structure and the nonaqueous electrolyte contains at least γ-butyrolactone. |
