PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electronic component mounter that can efficiently plug a clearance on a feeder base and ensure the safety of operators at a low cost. SOLUTION: This electronic component mounter is used to pick up an electronic component from a tape feeder 6 arranged on a component supply 5A by a transfer head 10 and feed/mount it onto a board 4. A cover member 23 is provided farther outside under the center of the device than an X axis table 9A located above the component supply part 5A, and farther inside above the center thereof than the recovery reel 6b (projected part) of the tape feeder 6. A cover member 23 is rotatable at the center of the hinge pin 22a provided on the central side of the device, thus plugging a clearance on the feeder base 21 without failing operability during attaching/detaching of the tape feeder 6 so as to ensure the safety of operators. |
