PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily conduct a test of operation in case of trouble by causing dummy trouble without any anxiety about device breakage as to a computer system to which peripheral equipment is connected by an input/output interface. SOLUTION: In the computer system constituted by connecting the peripheral equipment 130 to a shot computer 110 by the input/output interface of redundant constitution of SCSI buses 121 and 122, etc., a trouble generating device 200 which artificially causes trouble by operating a signal on the SCSI bus 121 when intercepting a bus signal and detecting an input/output request to an object device is connected to the SCSI bus 121 to repeatedly generate trouble state on the SCSI bus 121 in a specified period without actually extracting a cable nor turning off the power source and disable retrial recovery by a low-order SCSI driver, etc., thereby conducting the test of operation in case of trouble as to whether processing for replacement with the SCSI bus 122 of the redundancy system functions. |
