<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ignition coil 1 in which epoxy based thermosetting resin 5 is prevented from leaking through a gap 6 between a recessed cut 3 and a connector housing 4 to the outside of a case 2 and causing incomplete fixing. SOLUTION: A part 7 for receiving epoxy based thermosetting resin 5 leaking through a gap 6 to the outside of a case 2 in the initial stage of filling when the epoxy based thermosetting resin is not cooled sufficiently but has fluidity is formed in the way of leakage passage of the filler 5 spreading from the inside of the case 2 through the gap 6 to the vicinity of the gap 6 on the outside of the circumferential wall 2a. More specifically, the receiving part 7 is formed integrally with the case 2 under the recessed cut 3 on the outside of the circumferential wall 2a and receives the epoxy based thermosetting resin 5 leaking downward.</p> |
