PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide electric discharge lamp lighting equipment which can control current, which flows each of two or more cold-cathode electric discharge tubes, using simple circuit constitution. SOLUTION: The current, which flows in the cold-cathode electric discharge tubes 6 and 7, is detected by resistors 10 and 11 for current detection, and is inputted into predetermined ADCs (ADC1, ADC2) of a microcomputer 1 via rectifying circuits 18 and 19. Based on this, the microcomputer 1 adjusts the duty ratio of signals outputted from PWM outputs (PWM2 and PWM3). The signals, outputted from the PWM2 and the PWM3, are inputted to bases of transistors 12 and 13 via the rectifier circuits 18 and 19, and the current, which flows in each the cold-cathode electric discharge tubes 6 and 7 respectively, are adjusted to predetermined values. |
