PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a receiver that displays an antenna level (a ratio of carrier power to noise power) and electric field strength of a received signal sent from a satellite broadcast program or a communication antenna through a cable. SOLUTION: A microcomputer 106 of the receiver 102 measures the antenna level and the electric field strength of the received signal, a display section 108 informs an antenna installation worker about the result, and provides a means that facilitates assurance of the reception quality and restoration from a fault.
