PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for notifying a vehicle state and a system for notifying a vehicle state capable of notifying detail contents such as a position of the vehicle and a kind of abnormality to a vehicle owner or the like on a theft of the vehicle and mischief to the vehicle. SOLUTION: The system for notifying a vehicle state includes base stations 103, 104 for receiving a radio signal of a vehicle communication terminal 101, exchanges 105, 106 connected to each of the base stations, a service control point 107 for storing a moving unit ID of the vehicle communication terminal 101 and position information of the base station 103 or the like, and performing routing to a mail server 108, the mail server 108 for transmitting an electronic mail to the vehicle owner by a transmission address, and a radio security managing device 109 for managing a state of a vehicle which the vehicle owner registers, detects vehicle abnormality by using a position registration function and a mail transmission function of the vehicle communication terminal 101, and notifies the vehicle abnormality to the vehicle owner by the electronic mail.
