PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily improve position accuracy between a disk rotating motor and a pickup different in height for attachment to a chassis in a disk reproducing device. SOLUTION: On the chassis 1 of a reproducing device, a common reference boss 20 is provided at a height for contact between the main spindle 6 of a pickup 2 and the bracket 11 of a spindle motor 10. One end of the main spindle is pressed to the boss 20 to be fixed to a support part 21b by a screw, the other end of the main spindle is pressed to a boss 23 to be fixed to a support part 21a by a screw, and the main spindle is positioned to position the pickup. The spindle motor presses one end of the bracket to the boss 20, and fixes the bracket to the chassis to be positioned in a Y direction. The long holes 24a and 24b of the bracket are fitted in two bosses 13a and 13b on the chassis, and the bracket is fixed to the chassis to be positioned in an X direction. Thus, the motor is positioned in the Y and X directions.
