PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an information recording and retrieval apparatus, method, program and recording media that permit recording multimedia data automatically and accurate and efficient retrieval. SOLUTION: The apparatus is equipped with the multiple voice recognition part that executes voice recognition process under a plural number of different conditions and the multiple database retrieval part that performs retrieval using the prepared multiple retrieval indexes mentioned above.
