PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an integrated radio paging receiver with an external terminal which is mounted on a display board or a display unit, receives and outputs a display massage, and is equipped with a 1 MHz clock electromagnetic shield which is used for processing received data and fetching out the processed data, reduced in cost, and capable of avoiding affecting receiving sensitivity. SOLUTION: A means is provided to change the dividing ratio of the PLL clock generator of a CPU 32 provided in a control unit 3 so as to switch the output frequency of the PLL clock generator. This radio paging receiver operates on a clock of 51.2 kHz while a self frame is received in intermittent reception, and the output frequency of a clock generating source is switched from 51.2 kHz to 1 MHz so as to process the received data and to fetch out serial data of 9600 bps in a short time in the other period.
