PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tack label which is capable of assuring a display region of some extent and hardly hides the display applied to a main label even when the tack label is affixed onto the main label put on a container body and which can be neatly and surely attached to the container body and to provide a container fitted with the tack label. SOLUTION: The tack label 10 has a transparent affixing section 10a to be affixed to a shrink label L attached to the cylindrical part of the container body B and a display section 10b successively connected to affixing section 12. The rear surface of the display section 10b is non-adhesive. The tack label 10 is attached to the container body B by affixing the affixing section 12 to the top end of the shrink label L in such a manner that the display section 10 overhangs upward from the top end edge of the shrink label L attached to the container body B.
