PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hard ferrite raw material powder which has improved quality properties, is fine, and has uniform composition at a low cost. SOLUTION: An iron chloride solution is sparayed in a roasting furnace, and one compound selected from among a group comprising a compound A, a compound B, a compound C, and a compound D, is sprayed in the roasting furnace in a temperature range, where the iron chloride solution is changed into an oxide, in a state of powder or slurry. The compound A is SrCO3 and/or SrSO4 , the compound B is an Sr compound which can be changed into an oxide, the compound C is an oxide of La, an oxide of Co, an oxide of Mn, an oxide of Ni, and/or an oxide of Cu, and the compound D is a compound which can be changed into the compound C. |
