PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem of a power converter comprising a multiplex controller that when switching is made to a stand-by controller due to failure of a controller in the operating system, control of the power converter is not sustained due to abnormality of the power converter itself incident to failure of the controller in the operating system and thereby enhancement of operational reliability is needed. SOLUTION: Since switching is made to the control circuit of other sound waiting system when the control circuit of an operating system under control in a multiplex control circuit failed due to some cause, and normal state prevailing before occurrence of abnormality is recovered when the power converter is abnormal, operation and control of the power converter can be sustained upon occurrence of a single failure in the control circuit without being influenced by the failure. |
