PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a luminaire capable of equally radiating the light emitted from a light emitting diode to the outside through the whole cover without locally concentrating. SOLUTION: This luminaire A is constituted such that a reflecting plate 22 in which a light emitting diode 23 is covered with a transmissive cover 24, an irregular reflection surface 25a is installed on the inner surface of the cover 24 facing the reflecting plate 22, and the light emitted from the light emitting diode 23 is diffused over the whole surface of the cover 24 the irregular reflection surface 25a and the reflection plate 22. By repeating the irregular reflection of the light emitted from the light emitting diode between the irregular reflection surface of the cover and the reflection plate, the beam density of the light incident in the cover can be made almost uniform. When the luminaire is lit, the cover almost uniformly shines over the whole surface, and excellent external appearance of the luminaire is provided since the light emitting position of the light emitting diode is not seen through the cover. |
