PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a power supply device which compensates voltage drop due to mounting a plug-in unit, and supplies an electric power supply of a normal voltage to each plug-in unit. SOLUTION: The power supply device has a voltage compensating means 4, comprising a mounting detection means 7, which detects mounting of an arbitrary plug-in unit PUk by control information JDK (L level: GDN potential) supplied from the plug-in unit PUk, when the plug-in unit PUk is mounted on a power supply line 5A (5 V) and the line 5B (GDN); and a compensating voltage superposing means 6, which superimposes a compensating voltage VH to a constant voltage 5 V of a voltage conversion part 3 based on a detection information JCK supplied from the mounting detection means 7, and outputs DC voltage VC (=5+VH volts) to the power supply line 5A (5 V) and the one 5B (GDN) from the voltage conversion part 3 making the ground (GND) as the reference. |
