<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a connector capable of being made thin. SOLUTION: This connector is provided with a contact block 1 where plural contacts 50, capable of contacting with a contactor of a counterpart connector are molded simultaneously and integrally at a retainer 10 of a synthetic resin molded product, a first shell 40 composed of a metal plate in which the retainer 10 is loaded in the thickness direction and which is extended over the total length in an array direction of the contacts 50, a body 20 which is molded simultaneously and integrally with the first shell 40, and in which a contact piece 51 for contacting with a contactor of the counterpart connector at each of the contacts 50 is housed, and which insulates the space between the first shell 40 and each of the contacts 50, and the second shell 30 composed of the metal plate, which extends over the entire length in the array direction of the contacts 50 and is mutually joined with the first shell 40, so as to surround the contact piece 51 of the contacts 50 and pinch the retainer 10 between the first shell 40, and an insertion port 70 is formed between the body 20 and the second shell 30.</p> |
