摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent overdischarge by a minute short circuit in a secondary battery having a bypass circuit. SOLUTION: A plurality of secondary batteries D1-D4 are serially connected and bypass circuits 12, 14, 16 and 18 are respectively connected in parallel with each secondary battery. An ECU 10 turns on the bypass circuits, in order to equalize the state of charge(SOC) of the secondary batteries D1-D4. When the minute short circuit is caused in the secondary batteries D1-D4, the ECU 10, upon detecting the minute short circuit, increases the control target value of the secondary batteries from 60% to 70%, in order to prevent drop of the SOC of the whole of the secondary batteries D1-D4 due to equalizing. Further, the control target range is decreased.
