PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a data transfer processor, a data transfer processing method and a data transfer processing program that can smoothly change a channel of data in isochronous transfer. SOLUTION: A control section 1 extracts a data block size DBS set to a CIP(Common isochronous packet) header of stream data (packet) isochronous- transferred from a transmitter side processor via an IEEE1394 serial bus. The data block size DBS varies with number of transmitted channels. A RAM control section 2 controls read/write addresses of FIFO 3 and a DBS-RAM 4 in real time, on the basis of the data block size DBS. Thus, even if the transmitter side processor is switched of the channel, receiver side processor does not need to clear the FIFO 3 or to receive a transferred mute packet.
