PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a semiconductor device that can properly and surely switch a filter characteristic. SOLUTION: The semiconductor device is provided with a count circuit 1 comprising; a plurality of transistor means that configure filter elements and have different resistance characteristics from each other; and a plurality of counter means that are controlled by an internal clock signal independently of an input signal to the semiconductor device, count the input signal for a prescribed period in response to the input signal, derive an overflow signal on the occurrence of an overflow by the count result and apply the overflow signal to a counter of a next stage as an input signal, and a plurality of the transistor means can selectively be switched according to the result of detection by a detection means comprising a selector 2 that detects until which counter means cause overflow among a plurality of the counter means.
