PURPOSE: A semi-automatic door with an infrared transmission switch is provided to enable a user to freely adjust an opening speed and width of the door. CONSTITUTION: The semi-automatic door comprises an infrared transmission switch(1) attached to the door for transmitting infrared rays by detecting an intention of a user when the user grip a handle of the door for opening the door, and an infrared receiver(2) attached to a door frame or the wall surface near the door for extracting opening information of the door(for example, an opening width and an opening speed) by receiving the infrared rays from the infrared transmission switch.
