PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tray for transporting a glass substrate where deformations of a package due to a load of the glass substrate are hard to occur and the dust caused by vibrations of the glass substrate in transportation are hard to occur, and to provide the tray where the vibrations of the glass substrate are hard to occur in transportation. SOLUTION: In the tray for transporting the glass substrate, made of a polyolefin resin foam, where a plurality of storing parts to horizontally store the glass substrate 4 are formed on an upper surface of the tray 11, this tray for transporting the glass substrate is characterized in that the storing part of the tray 11 has a bottom surface 12 to store the glass substrate 4 and a side wall 15 surrounding the bottom surface 12, and has recesses 13, 14 at a periphery in the bottom surface 12, and/or has the recess 16 on the upper surface of the side wall 15, and/or has the recess 17 on an inner wall surface of the side wall 15. |
