PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a brushless motor with an oil retaining bearing, which has good workability in assembling and can prevent oil, in the oil retaining bearing, from scattering via a thrust washer. SOLUTION: A stay is supported on an outer periphery of a stator supporting boss 2; a rotating shaft 6 is supported rotatably by a shaft center of the boss 2 in such a manner as to pass though the shaft center thereof via the oil retaining bearing 5; a rotor is supported on an outer periphery of the rotating shaft 6, protruding from one end of the boss 2, in such a manner as to face a stator; a gear 10 molded of a resin is fixed on an outer periphery of a base part of the rotating shaft 6 protruding from the bearing 5 on the other side of the rotor; and the thrust washer 11, which is fitted into the rotating shaft 6 so as to rotate with gear 10, is interposed between the gear 10 and the bearing 5. The thrust washer 11 is integrated with the gear 10 when the gear 10 is molded.
