SOLUTION: In the mobile communication system, a message to the mobile 1 is stored in a message server 7 when the mobile 1 is out of a wireless zone 2 of a wireless station 3. When the mobile 1 returns to the same wireless zone, the information of returning to the original wireless zone is added to the control signal transmitted from the mobile 1 to the wireless station 3 and from the wireless station 3 to the exchange station 5. At the same time, when there is a message to the mobile 1, the information about the message received is added to the control signal from the exchange station 5 to the wireless station 3 and from the wireless station 3 to the mobile 1 to notify the mobile 1 that there is a message without carrying out a positional registration.
