ALARM SYSTEM USING POWER LINE CARRIER COMMUNICATION

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an alarm system using power line carrier communication, preventing the occurrence of misinformation in an unnecessary place in spite of using a power line of a commercial power source as a communication line. SOLUTION: This alarm system is provided with a transmitter 1 and a receiver 2 connected using a power line Lp of a commercial power supply as a communication line. The transmitter 1 is provided with a storage part 12 storing a code key; a transmitter main processing part 10 for converting an audible signal from an input part 11 into ciphered data by the code key; and a power line modem part 14 for sending the ciphered data generated by the transmitter main processing part 10, to the power line Lp. The receiver 2 is provided with a power line modem part 24 for extracting the ciphered data transmitted to the power line Lp; a storage part 22 storing a code key; a receiver main processing part 20 for extracting the audible signal from the ciphered data extracted by the power. line modem part 24; and an informing part 21 for giving information corresponding to the audible signal.
