PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve a problem in which, when an abnormality occurs, the abnormality can not be judged either as an intermittent abnormality or a permanent abnormality because a conventional abnormality detection method for a multi processor judges normality/ abnormality status depending solely on a signal from an inside of a computer. SOLUTION: In the computer abnormality handling system of this invention, each of all the computers on a network is arranged with a computer status table 3 to store status information for each of all the computers on the network, when an abnormality detection feature 4 detects the abnormality of the computer for oneself, the abnormality of the computer for the oneself is notified from an abnormality reception feature 5 to the abnormality reception feature 5 for the other computers, the other computers notified update the computer status table 3 accordingly for the computer for the oneself based on content of reception. A diagnostic feature 6 for the computers for the oneself and the others diagnoses the normality or the abnormality for the computer needed to be diagnosed once again based on the status information of the computer status table 3 and notifies the computer for the oneself of its result.
