PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a magnetic circuit constitution for efficiently carrying out electromagnetic induction heating to a silicone thermal roller for color copying machine from the external direction of the roller, and also to provide the structure of the silicone roller. SOLUTION: A powder composed of an iron or iron oxide compounds is mixed into the silicone resin layer of the fixing roller surface layer, thus enhancing the magnetic permeability of the silicone resin layer of the fixing roller surface layer. The ferrite cores of E type and I type are used in a facing relation with the silicone thermal roller. A high frequency magnetic field is efficiently generated by winding the E type core part.
