PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a system for performing electronic money settlement, using a portable telephone by defining the portable telephone as a pseudo purse storing electronic money and installing a dedicated terminal which corresponds to the portable telephone in a store side. SOLUTION: This system consists of the portable telephone 101 for electronic money, a dedicated memory 102, the dedicated terminal device 103 installed in the store, a transaction financial institution 100 and a communication network 104 connecting them to each another, the portable telephone 101 for electronic money draws deposit money from the financial institution 100 to store the deposit money as electronic money data in the dedicated memory 102, pays the dedicated terminal device 103 by the use of the stored electronic money data in making payment in a commercial transaction, and the dedicated terminal device 103 accesses the financial institution 100 and adjusts the paid electronic money. |
