PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a power supply circuit for a television receiver which is capable of achieving to turn a TV set on, when power is turned on after the power has been turned off in a standby state, without making standby energy generated. SOLUTION: A single power supply switch 9, operated by a user consists of a first switching section 9a for turning it on and off simultaneously and a second switching section 9b. The section 9a is provided on an AC line 2, and the section 9b is provided on a rectifier side line serving as a power supply passage to a microcomputer 6 and a memory 8. A microcomputer 6 is constituted, so as to rewrite the value of the memory 8 into 'Turn TV ON', when the power teed is stopped at standby state.
