PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a gateway device which enables reduction of network bands between web servers for making a web access faster. SOLUTION: A gateway device connects the first and second networks in the network which has a construction that the first network to which user terminals are connected is connected to any of the third networks having information terminals by way of the second network. A cash terminal is connected to the gateway device so that it has a determination method to determine packet command contents sent to an information provision terminal from a user terminal. It also has a method to send the data stored in the cash terminal to a user terminal if data required by a packet is in the cash terminal, but if not, a connection to an information provision terminal from the gateway device is established within the second network, and it has a transferring method for transferring the information contained in packets from a user terminal through the connection, and another method for sending data obtained from an information provision terminal to the cash terminal.
