PURPOSE: A virtual office system and a method for operating the same are provided to enable a foreign client or a fellow trader of a domestic company to deliver a postal matter to the domestic company as if the postal matter is delivered in one's own country by endowing telephone numbers according to countries in a PC and making a telephone call being called through a general telephone network from a foreign country be received through the PC. CONSTITUTION: A general telephone network system(10) is provided for a foreign client or a fellow trader of a domestic company to call on a telephone number of one's own country. A service center(20) forwards the telephone call to a domestic PC(1) which is joined for receiving a telephone call being called through the general telephone network system(10). A path setting unit(21) endows a telephone number to the domestic PC(1) and sets a path in a network of the service center(20) of a call of the general telephone network system(10) which calls the endowed telephone number. A network connection unit(22) connects the network of the general telephone network system(10) to the network of the service center(20) for making the call be connected through the path set through the path setting unit(21). A forwarding unit(23) transmits a call of the general telephone network system(10) connected through the network connection unit(22) to the PC(1) by storing IP addresses of a plurality of PCs joined to the service center(20) and telephone numbers endowed according to the IP addresses. |
