PURPOSE: A magnet switch of a starting motor is provided to facilitate connection of a lead wire and facilitate handling of a starting by bending a terminal of a magnet switch and fixing to the terminal unit and then integrally installing a connector for connecting the lead wire to the terminal. CONSTITUTION: A shaft is installed to an armature of a starting motor housing having a magnet switch(2). A pinion and an overrunning clutch are installed to the shaft and therefore the engine is operated while the pinion is engaged with a ring gear of the engine. A terminal unit(7), equipped with a terminal(8) for connecting a battery and a terminal(9) for connecting a starting switch, is installed at the back of the magnet switch. A connector(10) is installed to the terminal(9) and therefore, a lead wire of the starting switch is connected to the connector. The connector is firmly fixed to the terminal by forming a fixing portion to the terminal and then bending.
