PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To transmit a talker's feeling by images while protecting privacy. SOLUTION: An image pickup element 10 shoots a talker's image. An EEPROM 1 stores substitution images instead of the actual images of a talker in advance. An CG processing section 3 selects either the substitution images being stored at the EEPROM 1 or actual images that have been shot by the image pick up element 10 for transmission according to the talker's instruction.
