PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing an electrode for battery, in which no metallic powder adheres to the surface and to the edge of the electrode. SOLUTION: In this method for manufacturing the electrode for battery, an electrode mixture paint that contains an electrode active material and a binder is applied on a collector electrode and dried, so that a sheet-like electrode A, that has an electrode active material layer on at least one surface of the collector electrode, is formed.
