PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a television receiver having improved operability is by enabling switching of the broadcast language and voice output mode by a single operation. SOLUTION: In a receiver 1, a voice output switching table 20 registered with a voice-setting record 21 correlating a languages with voice output modes is stored in a control section 2. Each time a switching operation of voice output is performed, the records 21 are selected in the order of registering the record 21. Further, in the receiver 1, the voice signal of language or voice output mode, on the basis the selected record 21 from an output section 6. Accordingly, since the broadcast language and voice output mode of digital broadcasting being received can be switched by a single operation, operability can be improved. |
