PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an actuator having high assembling workability. SOLUTION: The actuator 12 in a casing 11 comprises coils 14 and a rotor 15 equipped with a permanent magnet 23, and an operating shaft 32 is inserted into the rotor 15. The operating shaft 32 is stopped by a front part of the casing 11, and an external thread part 41 of the operating shaft 32 is screwed into an internal thread part 42 of the rotor 15, so that the amount of protrusion of the operating shaft 32 from the casing 11 can be varied according to the rotation of the rotor 15. A bearing surface 61 is formed on a filter 51 mounted on the casing 11, and a fixing hole 62 is made on the bearing surface 61. A protrusion 73, which is formed integrally in a stepped part 71 of the casing 11, is made to pass through the fixing hole 62 of the filter 51 so that an end can be deformed in such a manner as to have a large diameter, and the filter 51 is fixed to the casing 11.
