PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a multidirection input device preventing dust from entering by blocking the inside of the case by closing a hole on an upper plate. SOLUTION: This device is provided with the case 1 having the upper plate 14 provided with a hole 14b, an operating member 8 slidable in a surface direction of the upper plate 14 within the hole 14b, and interlocking member 9 and 11 which are arranged inside 1p the case and output azimuth signals by being moved by the operating member 8. A disc-shaped knob 15 is mounted on the operating member 8 from the outside of the upper plate 14, the passing hole 14b of the upper plate 14 is closed by the surface of the upper plate 14 side of the knob 15, and the inside 1p of the case is blocked.
