PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a highly reliable disk holder surely preventing the disk holder from being erroneously inserted to a cartridge case. SOLUTION: A disk cartridge is provided with the cartridge case having an opening for inserting the disk holder at the one side surface while arranging a head inserting part and a driving shaft inserting part at the prescribed positions, the disk holder 2 having a disk holding part while being insertably housed in the cartridge case 1, and a recording disk 3 attachably/detachably held on the disk holder 2. In the disk cartridge erroneous insertion preventing parts 22, 27 are respectively formed at the side end part of the opening for inserting the disk holder of the cartridge case 1 and the side end part corresponding to the side end part of the case side of the disk holder 2.
